Meaningful Books (ones that have changed my life):
Thoughts Without a Thinker by (integrates Buddhism's ancient science of the mind with psychotherapy).
Care of the Soul by Thomas Moore (an amazing book I've reread several times and still get insights form. Soulmates by him is also good)
Memories, Dreams, Reflections by C.G.Jung (his autobiography that highlights his main contributions to psychotherapy).
Everything by Tom Robbins from Even Cowgirls Get the Blues to Half Asleep in Frog Pajamas (He's hillarious and profound too)
The Fifth Sacred Thing by Starhawk (utopian fiction that postulates the most compelling victory of non-violence over a hostile militarististic system).
Robert Pirsig's Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and Lila (philosophically these books create cohesive system that runs from quantum physics to new age social movements)
Richard Dawkins' Blind Watchman and Selfish Gene (these construct a model for human inheritance using Darwinism - not as dreary as that sounds)
No Contest, The Case Against Competition by Alfie Kohn (argues against the mindless belief in competition as a cultural value)
On Human Nature by E.O.Wilson (popularized socio-biology)
This Is It by Alan Watts (Zen Buhdist philosophy)
